Charles Fowler

Mr Charles Edward Fowler, aged 95, of Worksop, was buried at Hannah Park Cemetery, on February 19, 2019, following a service at St Anne's Church.
A lifelong resident of Worksop, Charles left school at the age of 14 to work at Middleton's Fertilisers, then CWS Glassworks. He served with the Royal Navy from 1942-46 and then returned to work at CWS, until his retirement.
His interests included fishing, gardening, crosswords and puzzles.
Charles, who passed away on January 13, 2019, was predeceased by his wife Eileen and leaves son Garry, daughter Dianne, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson.

The service was conducted by the Reverend Paddy Macbain, who came up from London at the request of Charles. Arrangements were by Co-op Funeralcare, Worksop.
