Colum Canavan Notice

CANAVAN COLUM RIP We would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who have shown us kindness and sympathy since the loss of our beloved son, brother and boyfriend, Colum. Firstly to Fr J McCallion C.C. who attended Colum at the scene of the accident, again in hospital and then celebrated Requiem Mass, your presence was a great comfort to us.
To those professionals and neighbours who helped Colum in even the smallest way after his accident and ensured he was treated with dignity and respect, we will be forever grateful. We would also like to thank all the staff in Craigavon Area Hospital who looked after us all so wonderfully and cared for Colum with gentle care and compassion, we will always remembered your kindness. Thanks also to Fr Fee P.P., VF, Fr MacKeownP.E AP and Fr Ryan McAleer C.C for their spiritual support and words of comfort. To all those kind relatives, friends and neighbours who attended hospital, wake or funeral, who remembered us in their prayers, who called at our home, sent letters, mass or sympathy cards, brought flowers or gifts, facilitated parking and everyone who helped in any way at this time, we are most appreciative. To all the musicians, the readers, altar server, sexton, undertaker and grave diggers, thanks so much for your efficiency at such a difficult time. To Castlebay management and staff, our thanks for providing refreshments following the burial. Mass will be offered for all your intentions in appreciation for what you have done for us at this very sad time.
Colum's months mind mass will be celebrated in St Brigid's Church Brocagh on Wed 11th September at 8pm.
Paul and Geraldine Canavan and family, Mountjoy Road, Coalisland.
Marie Donnelly and family, Camaghy Rd South, Galbally.
