Frank Roddis

Mr Frank Alan Roddis of Pilsley, Chesterfield, has passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, aged 81.
Born in Pilsley, Frank was a lifelong local resident. He worked as a coal miner for 10 years, in highway maintenance for four years and as a fork lift truck driver, retiring in 1995.
Frank liked football, darts, fishing and watching cowboy films. He loved the birds he kept and his dogs.
He leaves his wife Joy Ann Roddis and son Steven Roddis.
The funeral took place on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at noon, at St Mary's Church, Pilsley, followed by burial.
